The Minnesota Transfer Curriculum
If you are transferring to the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities
To simplify the transfer process, the University of Minnesota and the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities have developed the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum (MnTC).
If you complete the MnTC at a participating college or university (including another University of Minnesota campus) and then transfer to the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, you have completed the core, theme, and first-year writing portion of the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities' liberal education requirements (you may still need to complete the writing intensive portion of the writing skills requirement). Completion of the MnTC must be noted on the official transcript from your college or university.
You must contact the registrar's office at the college or university where you completed the MnTC to request that the notation be added to your transcript.
To confirm that your academic record reflects the completion of the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum, check your APAS Report.
