If you are a Federal Pell Grant recipient, your student record will be evaluated
for one award of up to $750 for your first (freshman) year of study and one
award of up to $1,300 for your second (sophomore) year of study from this federally-funded
gift program. In addition to being a Federal Pell Grant recipient, you must
meet the following eligibility criteria:
- be a U. S. citizen
- be enrolled full time in a degree program
- have successfully completed a rigorous secondary school curriculum, as defined
by the U. S. Department of Education
- have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher to receive an award for your sophmore
year of study
- demonstrate financial need
The annual award amount may be reduced by the U. S. Department of Education, if sufficient funds are not available for
all eligible students in an award year.
