Financial aid options for non-degree students

The following options may be available if you are not currently admitted to a degree or eligible certificate program:

College of Continuing Education (CCE) Financial Resources Wizard

This interactive tool provides information on financial aid and other options for non-degree students who are taking classes without being admitted to a degree or eligible certificate program. Resources may include scholarships, grants, loans, employer tuition benefits, funding from government agencies, and the Lifetime Learning Tax Credit.

Prerequisite courses

If you are a non-degree student who is taking courses that are prerequisites for admission into a degree program, you may be eligible for some federal student loans.

Private Loans

The One Stop Web site lists three private loan programs that are geared toward non-degree students. Click on "Special situations" under the Read About section on the left of the Private Loans page.
