SFC is authorized to place a hold on your records, registration, and financial
aid for one of the following reasons. Contact an SFC
representative based on the first letter of your last name to resolve these
issues.
AH or AH2—Your loan is delinquent for one of
the following reasons:
- an over-award is outstanding
- interest due annually during deferment or enrolled status is unpaid
- payment not received by due date
- a judgment is entered in court against you for this loan
- your account is referred to the collection agency
- your loan is written off or assigned back to the federal government
AH1—Exit interview not complete
- failed to attend or submit required documentation; see Exit

AH3—Student loan file is missing information
or documentation
- The promissory note is unsigned. Resolve by signing a promissory note
- A loan disclosure form is not completed and returned at the time of the
first annual disbursement
- You failed to update an address or name change with SFC
