Special situations

You do not qualify for financial aid unless you are a currently registered at least half time and you are not allowed to register with a past-due student account. Alternative Education Loans for Special Situations are available to help students with past due balances. These loans are based on your credit worthiness. However, applying for a loan won't guarantee a hold release. You must apply and be approved for the loan. If approved, you are required to use the loan check to pay your past-due student account before your hold will be released.
