Veterans Resource Office
This on-campus office is available to you and your family members if you are
a veteran or current military member. Contact the Veterans Resource coordinator
with your concerns or questions regarding VA benefits, employment, family assistance,
and transition issues.
The coordinator works with various University staff to ensure that you have
access to educational benefits, as well as assistance with and/or information
on:
- Payment extensions while waiting for educational benefits
- Military transfer credit
- Veteran resident status
- Registration-priority, flexibility, and withdrawals due to deployments
- Referrals to the correct service providers
- Access to service providers on-site (family assistance workers, veterans
service officers, employment specialists)
- Events for veterans and military families
The Veterans Resource Office is the metropolitan regional headquarters for
the MNDVA Higher Education Veterans Programs (HEVP).
Goal of the HEVP:
To serve the unique higher education needs of students who are Veterans, military members or family members.
Mission:
To provide veterans and military family members with a single point of contact for information and assistance regarding the benefits and resources available to meet the unique challenges they face
