These figures apply to students who have reciprocity as residents of
North Dakota, South Dakota, or Manitoba, Canada.
The tuition/fee figure is based on 15 credits per semester and includes
a $672 student service fee, $1,100 University fee, $444 combined technology and course fee (may
vary based on your college); $32 transportation fee; $8 miscellaneous fees.
The residence hall room and board figure is based on semester rates from
the University Housing Office of $2,147 for a double room and a $1,493
for a 14-meal per week plan.
The off-campus private housing room and board figure is based on monthly
rates of $570 sharing/roommate rate per student for a two-bedroom, campus-area
apartment (Minneapolis Star Tribune January 26, 2008 edition) and $238.65
for food (U.S. Department of Agriculture, December 2007) for the 9-month
