Student veterans orientation
If you haven't already participated, please plan to attend an orientation session for student veterans enrolling for the first time at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, to learn more about the:
- veterans education benefits process;
- military benefits impact on student financial aid;
- the full range of veteran/military benefits; and
- University policies and procedures for registration, academic progress, student accounts, and more.
The sessions will be held in B20 (lower level) Fraser Hall, East Bank campus (see campus map) at the following times and dates:
- 5 - 7 pm, Wednesday, July 30, 2008
- 10 am - 12 pm, Thursday, July 31, 2008
- 1 - 3 pm, Wednesday, August 27, 2008
- 5 - 7 pm, Thursday, September 4, 2008
Please let us know which session you will attend by sending an e-mail, with “RSVP” in the subject line and with your name and the date listed in the body of the e-mail, to veterans@umn.edu.
If you are unable to attend, please contact the Veterans Certification Office at veterans@umn.edu or 612-625-8076 to schedule a time to come in and meet with a counselor about your benefits.
